In this capacity, she has worked for companies throughout the UK and enjoys a particularly strong relationship with Welsh National Opera. For WNO, she devises and leads workshops in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs schools and singing sessions for patients and relatives at the Neath Port Talbot Hospital, in addition to leading audience participation events. She regularly appears as the soloist in WNO’s Opera Engage projects and has made several recordings for the company featuring new work composed with community participants. Zoë is responsible for co-devising and leading “Wellness with WNO” in collaboration with NHS clinicians, a programme which sees patients suffering with Long COVID attending weekly digital singing sessions aimed at increasing wellbeing and improving breathlessness. Alongside pianist and workshop leader Dan Perkin, Zoë recently created “Y Ddraig Goch/The Red Dragon”, an interactive, musical storytelling project for children with SEND, commissioned by Mid Wales Opera with the support of The Arts Council of Wales. In Spring 2022 Zoe led opera workshops at the Dubai Expo on behalf of WNO and the Welsh government.
